I didn't think of that, I always liked this episode, I like all the fillers, a lot of people get bored of fillers when the show gets a bit more intense but there are so many little bits in them that build the characters. But I never thought about it that way, that is amazing :}

The writers were supposed to deliberately write an anti-drinking script and it just feels like they were making fun of the whole concept, because it comes off to me as a hilarious parody of the afterschool special genre, with the whole thing just amped up so high that it feels like a bunch of SNL writers doing a sketch on the subject. Beer: Foamy. (Plus the awesome Willow moment--"How gullible do you think I am?")
