I think the show does a decent job of maintaining continuity of the rule without wasting time by showing us every single time he does it.

2020-03-08 19:36:21 +0000 UTCThis is one of my favorite season 1 episodes. I just love seeing Cordelia’s growth and how much she’s changed since season 1. She still has her snark, but she’s learned a lot since then. I loved the group dynamic between Angel/Cordelia/Doyle. It’s great. I wouldn’t read too much into her comment about Buffy. It’s just her superiority complex lol she always thought she was better than Buffy. PHANTOM DENNIS IS THE BEST CHARACTER. Everyone should stan.

I always thought they rushed the riches to rags story with Cordelia over on Buffy so it was nice to finally see how it was affecting her and I loved her speech to the ghost about crybuffy because there's always been a rivalry between Buffy and herself so it makes sense to me that she would see her that way lol. I also love the twist at the end. It was pretty dark but at least Cordelia got a new roommate out of it
