He's very soft when it comes to Santana he's not as harsh, he's trying to treat characters equally but everything Santana pops up he's obviously in love

Santana is a bully and her words might hurt Finn and others and have bad consequences for their self-esteem, which is horrible. But Outing someone for being gay or a lesbian can get them literally kicked out of home or disowned, not to mentioned bullied. It's profoundly f*cked up.

with this show there were so many things characters did that i remember being mad at but looking at it now as an adult i forgive way easier. santana and finn are both very much in the wrong. no one deserves to be outed but i think finn was just not looking at the big picture and it was due to to just not thinking it through enough that she was outed. hes a teenager and so is she, and they both have a lot to learn about not being self centered. also i remember crying while this aired because i was closeted at the time

I like season 4 too and honestly? I grew up with people like Santana... Santana is the type of person people kill themselves because of, so no, I don't think it was low. What santana does is low. Karma's a bitch. You get what you get, and I never felt bad for Santana. Just because he decides to call her out on the ONLY thing that bothers her, she gets to play the victim after harassing him for years? Nah, I call bs. And I know they're fake, but even as a bisexual person, I don't feel bad for Santana's character one bit. I've been suicidal in the past because of people like her character, and I just can't feel empathy for her to be honest

what finn did to santana was awful, but I dont think it's unforgivable. It's understandable what he did, Santana just constantly trashtalking everyone whenever she could wasn't okay either. There's only so much someone can take before they bite back. Again, what he did was awful but it made it more realistic, people arent perfect Finn isnt and Santana isnt either.

I know Santana was so rude l, I don't agree with Finn outing her but he didn't knew what he was doing was wrong. On the other hand Santana was just a b and she knew she was being rude and mean to Finn, she just didn't care...

thank you!!!! im lesbian and while it upset me that finn did that, it's like people forgot that she LITERALLY blackmailed karofsky, which i honestly think is a /bit/ worse than outing someone. Especially at the time. Cause when that episode came out, i didn't even think twice about the fact that he outed her, and i was closeted lesbian at the time. I remember being way more upset with santana blackmailing karofsky. i mean, to each their own, but my two favorite characters in glee are gay, i'm lesbian and despite the fact that i love santana, i didn't hate finn for doing that. I don't even think he realized what he did was wrong. She's ALWAYS picking on him. It's hard for me to feel bad for gay bullies. Like the whole internelized homophobia doesn't make me suddenly sympathize with you. That's why i never feel bad for karofsky and i can't feel bad for santana sometimes. They're bullies and just cause they're gay doesn't make them suddenly amazing people and forgive their ways.

I know it was wrong, but that shouldn't stop you from liking Finn, he showed he cared about Santana. When this aired I was in high school and most people in my highschool thought gays were weird and wouldn't be my friend if I came out. I had a friend that knew I was gay and told some people I liked boys, when I asked her why she did that she told me that she thought it would be good for me to be more open, she thought me being in the closet was making me feel depressed or something. I understood why she did why she did even though it was wrong that she outed me and I was actually sad that she did that but I forgave her and she was still my friend after that. I know she supported me 100% and didn't knew it was wrong to out me. I am a gay Latino like Santana and I appreciate that Finn supports her. Yes it was wrong that he outed Santana but I can forgive him, because after that he showed he cared about her and wanted to be her friend. I would have like to have an open-minded friend like Finn when I was in high school. So yes it was wrong he outed her but I like him pass that when he showed he cared about Santana.

unlike the popular opinion i accidentally liked season 4 and the beginning of season 5.... no it wasn’t as good as seasons 2 and 3 but it wasn’t awful

it means absolutely nothing to me when this came out. i know when it came out and what people thought. i know what santana did. that wasn’t okay either. but finn being ignorant on the effect it would have on her doesnt excuse what he did. we don’t always mean to do things. that doesn’t mean we get a pass. he was ignorant and did a bad thing

This show aired when people just were starting to understand gay people, and even Santana herself blackmailed karofsky telling him she would reveal he is gay if he didn't do as she says. I am gay myself but consedering the time this episode aired, I don't think Finn thought/knew it was wrong to out her and Santana was really mean to him so I am with Finn on this one...

doesn't matter how much of a bitch santana is. nobody deserves to get outed. this is where i started to really not like finn. hard to look past this

I think season 5 was trash, but season 6 brought me back some memories of seasons 1-3 and the fact that it didn't took itself seriously anymore made me see it as just a funny little final season and the 2 final episodes were really good so it was a nice way to end the show and say goodbye to the characters we loved...

i really liked season 4....idk why people hate it, like you said, season 5 and 6 are just trash compared to it.

Season 4 is not my favorite, but to be fair the start of season 4 is much better than the start of season 3, of course as a whole season 3 is better though

Season 5 may be bad but let's face it, even Glee makes fun of itself on Seasons 5 and 6 and are just like the funniest seasons 😜😂

I don’t think season 4 is the worst. It’s not my personal favorite, but it’s still fun. To me season 5 is the worst season and that’s when the show officially went off the rails.

To be fair... I think seasons 5 & 6 aren’t bad they just aren’t as good as the first three. They still have some great episodes. Season 4 is definitely my least favorite.
