I always felt so sorry for Harry, it had to have been a pain for he and Heather to always have to do such simple choreography. I always thought he should have gotten a whole episode to just dance, like Heather did in the Britney episode.

2020-03-02 01:52:08 +0000 UTCThe return of Sam Evans is what really made this ep for me. And also the reuniting of the whole group with the Troubletones merging with the New Directions. And “We Are Young” was one of best group numbers the show has ever done, not only because it was sung really well but also because of the sentimental aspect of everyone coming together are finally putting aside their resentments and petty squabbles. As far as the sectionals performances went, I thought “I Will Survive/Survivor” was the best performance. “ABC” was really good too, but the choreography was kind of sloppy (especially with people pausing in the middle of the song to notice people in the audience, but obviously I get that was for dramatic effect) “Control” was a throwaway song, but “Man In the Mirror” was fantastic and it gave me chills, but I still loves the Troubletones performance more and it was flawlessly sung with great choreography. I didn’t like Finn cockily whispering “We got this” during that. It felt like he was being dismissive of their performance which was uncalled for.

2020-03-02 00:26:32 +0000 UTCThe funny thing about Kurt’s CW comment is that this was before Grant was cast as the Flash so in a way Glee predicted the future 😂. I loved that Kurt/Sebastian exchange. Snarky Kurt is always fun. I wish the writers gave Kurt more comedic scenes because Chris has great timing. This episode makes me so happy. I love all the performances, and they tie up all the plot lines nicely. The troubletones were slightly better, and that’s probably because Shelby is a better show choir director than Will. This is the same woman who coached VA in season 1. I do get why ND won, they came across as more of a high school show choir, and their performance felt more realistic for a high school group. We Are Young gives me chills. My favorite group numbers are the ones that have emotion behind them, and you could feel the love and respect between both choirs in that scene. Stunning tbh. Excited for the next few episodes.
