They didn't forget. They created the scene without knowing what it would actually mean and then it never fit the eventual story they came up with so they had to turn it into a dream.. which is fucking stupid.

You can see that their hair is longer than in the original scene and it turned out to be a stupid dream that meant literally nothing...

How do you not better prepare when you have that many seasons to write and shoot it? As a fan and watching for 7 years... I was just so pissed. Like I understand why they did the twin thing because it was in the books, however it was Allison with the twin. If they wanted to do a twin story just introduce it a little sooner. Not a spoiler because I know you finished the series already.
