I couldn’t stand Quinn in this ep! It was probably her worst, though there were at lot of eps where I wanted someone to slap her. It was a really boring ep overall with no good songs IMO. They might have been sung well but they put me to sleep. Brittany “helping” Kurt with his campaign was the only thing I actually liked about the ep. And I also think Artie was trash character but I love his voice. Too bad he didn’t actually sing in this ep.

I'm pretty sure her mom was there but it transitioned into the audition and obviously her mom wasn't going to audition with her so that's why her mom disappeared.

I mean technically it's not really known that he was a pedophile when this was filmed. I mean pedophilia is a mental illness, but thinking things you can't control and actually doing them are two different things. Although I'm pretty sure there is some evidence that pedophilia can develop over time, so is there really anything to suggest the actor was acting on these urges or even was a pedophile at this time? But either way, you can like Puck without liking the actor. I don't think you should dislike a character because the actor is a disgusting person. Plus I don't think he ever sexually abused a child irl, or it was never publicly found out if he did, just watched pornography which seems to be the case with a lot of pedophiles anyway (not that that makes it okay). But anyway yeah, I find it better to remember that Puck is a made up character and it's okay to like him lol.

Quinn is literally my least favorite character of the mains smh. You wanna talk repetitive, i feel like she NEVER gets development. She's ALWAYS selfish and never learns, constantly blaming others for HER mistakes and problems. We see development for Puck and Santana, even Rachel and Kurt (who are constantly being seen as the most selfish characters...?), but Quinn is just never growing. Seeing Puck with the baby made me smile then i realized his actor is a pedophile so then i felt REALLY weird during that scene and uncomfortable...

i feel like it is 100% inspired by that!!! A lot of storylines in glee seem to parallel some of the actors.

The whole Kurt storyline this episode is sad and probably a mirror of what Chris Colfer must go through. The advice Burt gave him is kinda what happened for him tho. Chris auditioned for Artie but Ryan Murphy wrote the role of Kurt for him. There was no role for Chris so Ryan created one. I really like that parallel.
