UNCUT: Glee S.3.1 Reaction

I like musical theater, but it’s definitely not my favorite kind of music, and I didn’t like a lot of Kurt’s numbers, except there were a few I really did enjoy. But my favorite type of music is R&B (classic and contemporary) and soul and blues, that’s why I much preferred Mercedes and Santana’s voices. Rachel and Kurt have one duet that was one of my favorite songs of the whole series though (Happy Days Are Here Again/Come On Get Happy)😊

i think you always dislike/hate the theatrical performances and music (so saying you'd rather see rachel's song in concert than the performers doesn't make sense, they aren't striving to be singers, they wanna be theater performers), which is what kurt and rachel strive for so a lot of the performances you didn't like are seen as a gold mine for theater kids and were amazing. I don't know anything about theater, but the type of music i love is theatrical (hence why kurt has one of my favorite voices on the show, his style is towards that) so i really loved those performances and see why they're considered amazing.

I miss Sam in the first few episodes of Glee Season 3 😢 , I am happy about what happens next though 😊 no spoilers

Also I'm not sure why Sam was cut from the show randomly. Apparently there was a thing where they offered him a certain amount of screen time, and he declined it, but I'm not sure why.

I agree it's dumb that a kiss ruined their chances, but it is widely known in the theater world that it is very unprofessional... those people are there to see a performance, they don't know you nor do they care about your feelings toward each other. They're there for the music!

After episode like 3 the episodes starts picking up. Fun fact, a few characters this season won a reality show competition called “The Glee Project”. Glee was so popular at this point that they help competitions to be on it. The winners won walk on role like that Harmony girl. Others have bigger roles in the show but that comes later. And yes they did say where Sam went. His dad got a job out of state. But don’t worry. That’s all I can say. And I don’t hunk ANYONE liked skanky Quinn.

Darren Criss' (Blaine's) rendition of "it's not unusual" has been my alarm tone for as long as I remember. So great to wake up to 😄 Take the first few eps with a grain of salt, because the season will get genuinely amazing!

Also Sue wants to win the election so is choosing to be against the Arts, which is affecting Glee yes but is not the reason she’s doing it. Same result I know but I guess they are trying to put a different spin on it. That being said, it won’t stop happening. It is Sue.

I think it’s personal preference on songs that affect certain episodes. This is one of my less favourites for that reason. I don’t personally like the group Rachel and Kurt went to see on a personality level and I don’t think they necessarily have more talent, although that could be as I said preference on the song. The point is they do have the credits and experience and I think they were highlighting that it won’t be as easy to get into NYADA as they think, which is true.

Also I never liked Quinn, but her whole lame ass “bad girl” phase made me want her to just go away and never come back 🙄. I still can’t understand why so many people shipped her and Rachel. Every time Rachel tried to have a heart-to-heart with Quinn just felt so cringe for me.

I never really cared for the first few eps of this season, but it gets better. And the actress that played that Harmony girl was on the show because she was in a Glee talent contest show that happened before S3 aired.
