Couldn't agree more about that absolutely cringey and horrible storyline with Phoebe and Monica this episode. Garbage, indeed. Everything else was great.

2022-06-21 19:37:02 +0000 UTCI think the reason most would find the Monica/Phoebe thing more disturbing if the sexes were reversed is because the statistical likelihood of men being the perpetrators and women being the victims of stuff like that (stalking, undressing unconscious ppl/being undressed while unconscious, etc.) is significantly higher than the reverse scenario which is depicted in this ep. That makes the situation in this episode seem more on the absurd/comical side than the so-creepy-i-can't-enjoy-it side. Fair enough though if you personally find it too creepy to be entertaining. [p.s. @ anyone offended by this comment: I'm talking about sex offender/victim crime stats in the USA. I'm not saying "all men do stuff like that, and men are never the victims"; it's just an uncontroversial statistical reality that the overwhelming majority of perps of such things are male, and the victims female. Of course there are always exceptions! But that explains why the reverse scenario depicted for comical purposes would probably fall quite flat]
