2020-01-20 16:26:53 +0000 UTCI actually think Viv did the right thing. Jackson was trying to hurt himself and made it clear that he did not want to tell his parents. He even said that he would tell them he did not want to swim but they wouldn’t understand the self -harm. Viv was stuck between a rock snd a hard place. If she didn’t say anything Jackson might do it again or something worse and she would have to carry that guilt. She knew saying something would probably ruin their relationship (at least for a bit) but his well-being was more important to her. In an ideal world Jackson would tell his parents on his own but Viv didn’t know how much time she has before he tried to hurt himself again.
