My thought now is that all of the "I know what you did last summer" flashforwards -- the search party, Jughead at the morgue, this classroom arrest scene, etc. -- are all related to Jughead's perfect murder story. Either they're completely fake scenes from his book, or they're playacting his book in real life, or something along those lines.
