oh i actually never got to finish watching this and idk if you'll see it but... Gilbert is actually 19 years old! He's 3 years older than Anne (although he's in their "year" as he was away from school for awhile, at least if they kept it the same as other canon). IDK how old the one girl is but I'm guessing she's not too much older than that. Probably in her early 20s at most, but I THINK she's supposed to be of similar age. Of course this is assuming they kept the same canon in the series. I'm not sure they ever mentioned it anywhere.

(Spoilers!) shit when she said “I don’t wanna die” I cried like a baby
