UNCUT: Glee S.1.16 Reaction

I don't normally leave comments but with this one I just had to. I thought this episode was really important. It gave us more to mercedes as a character and with all the pressure she had to look more 'socially acceptable' and to fit in, i think glee handled this one really well. it was an important message and i love how it showed that it doesn't matter what you look like, what your weight is, what you do - we're all beautiful, and you don't have to change for anyone! I also really loved quinn in this episode - she is my favourite character but it was this episode that i went from liking her more than anyone to completely loving her. She was super supportive to mercedes and she knows exactly how mercedes was feeling and she didn't want anyone to have to feel like that, because of someone else. she really came through on this episode and i really do love her! as for april, it really was a weaker aspect of the episode but i still enjoyed her. i actually quite like april but maybe i am a little biased because i like kristin. I think her buying the auditorium for will and the kids at the end of the episode was really great from her. she didn't have to do anything - she could have taken her money and left but she wanted to help, and it was a really nice gesture. I, for one, wouldn't be too annoyed if she came back for another episode at some point in the future.

love or hate the character you can't give her shit for her singing. she's a broadway legend and an all around singing legend. i love kristin so i can't really hate april but to each their own

I guess everyone has their own musical taste, but imo you can't deny kristin (the actress playing april)s talent. She has PIPES, and sings miles around most of the cast. I have a soft spot for Kristin, so April doesn't bother me.

I definitely agree with you about April. The only thing good about her is her singing, but you can't appreciate it because of her annoying personality.
