I have so many thoughts on this episode but they're barely coherent so apologies in advance lol. Firstly, you're right that Jules was fucking annoying in this episode. I'm glad there was a reason behind it that contextualizes it a little more, but her treatment of Rue isn't ok. McKay is a weird one. I feel like he's inherently a good person, but clearly a product of parenting based in suppressing emotions and toxic masculinity. But I feel like he can redeem himself. I also think I'm alone in that I actually wanted him to catch Cassie with Daniel - I just hate cheating as a storyline and always want the people involved to get caught, even though I like Cassie. I love that when Rue is threatening that kid, she's actually just naming characters from The Wire. Nice little nod to the show without drawing attention to it. Finally, and I am not exaggerating at all, Ethan deserves the world.
