2019-08-10 01:11:47 +0000 UTCI like what they did with the Jules/Cal scene. Him attacking her would have been cliche, but they made it more nuanced. It's realistic that a guy like Cal would be more pathetic than dangerous when scared. And even though their encounter at the motel was really messed up/a crime, it makes sense that Jules would think of it as consensual and feel guilty about making him think she was going to out him.

It's way more interesting that the show actually tried to make him a somewhat sympathetic character in that moment, even though he's clearly not a great guy. I've been saving the finale but I'm gonna go watch it now before you overtake me lol

2019-08-09 23:41:26 +0000 UTCGoing into this episode, I 100% thought that Jules was going to die here. I had such a bad feeling the entire time that something was going to happen to her. And while something bad definitely did happen, I'm just glad she didn't get hurt or killed here. I would have been devastated.
