One thing I liked about this series is all fo the characters are kind of morally grey, it IS hard to really be invested in any of them, they're all so messy and realistic.

2020-06-30 05:30:43 +0000 UTCAs for the slap, Charlotte was a bit distracted by the watch that was given by Noah that had her name engraved on it... perhaps they meant for that to be why she didn't react? then again, I think part of the disfunction of that family is the fact they are all so disconnected and distracted by their own shit to be involved with each other, so I suppose it makes sense that she's so apathetic about everything.
