I'm going to make an unpopular recommendation, watch this first season with the English dubbing. People act like it's some kind of fucking sin lol but with a complicated series like this, if the dubbing is done well, and it is fantastic here (prob. the best I've seen) it makes it a lot easier. Don't be bullied into the subtitles. I switched to dubbing in ep 2 my first time through this series and am SO glad I did. Reading subtitles in a series like this, trying to learn names ect, really diminishes the whole atmosphere Dark sets up. The English dubbing is done so well, I really hope you'll at least check it out. Also, the subtitle translation isn't the best, I realized this after switching to the English dub. Now we're hitting the sweet spot in the series where Dark starts to reveal what kind of beast of a show it really is! Thanks.

But if one of her parents would actually pay attention to their kids and the school would make sure everyone gets picked up when there are already kids going missing in town, Elizabeth wouldn't be wandering alone through the forrest...
