Honestly I think the biggest problem with Glee is that it doesn't become all that enjoyable until after season 1. Not that it's not enjoyable in season 1 but season 2 onward is by far so much better.

All the songs in the show are sung by the real actors, which is something that I appreciate because so many shows cast people with terrible voices for singing roles. Mark Salling is a disgusting person but Sweet Caroline is a really good cover. One of his best on the show. Also, Sue’s kitty cat line is iconic. One of the funniest lines on the show.
