Added 2023-10-11 20:43:28 +0000 UTCHey folks! For those not in the know, I also run CanFur, which is a line of faux furs and we will be launching a Kickstarter soon to help fund more colours. Since I'm a one man army I can't afford to do this on my own, which is why crowdfunding is so important. Over the course of CanFur's history I have be negotiating with the mill to allow us to place a smaller orders as normally they require us to order a minimum of 300meters of fur. We originally negotiated this down to 300m but in two colours, and more recently 250m but in three colours. Now we've negotiated them down to 200m in four colours which is absolutely fantastic as is it'll allow us to expand our inventory more quickly. The bare cost to colour the fur is around 4k CAD, plus an average of 1k$ in shipping, and around 1.5k-2k$ on average for customs and border fees. While I'd love to be able to crowdfund the total amount I will be happy if I can atleast get the base cost of the fur covered.
