2019-03-01 12:08:44 +0000 UTCHe never said he didn't like Aang in that episode...he just said that Aang was being annoying, and come on, he was. Yes, it's totally understandable why Aang reacted the way he did, but just because you understand why someone is being a jerk doesn't mean they're not still being one and that you're not allowed to point that out. Also, I like that the show lets Aang be a jerk and be in the wrong at times, it makes him a human being rather than just a paragon.

2019-03-01 03:56:21 +0000 UTCI think you confused the last guy that captured Appa with the firebending circus guy. That last guy is the cultural minister of Ba Sing Se and head of the Dai Li. He threatened the Team Avatar in "City of Walls and Secrets" about how it would be a shame if Aang couldn't find Appa. He is also an earthbender. Great reaction btw. This is one of my favorite episodes. It's so powerful and always gets me teary eyed.
