I totally agree! Their annoying personalities but also realness, despite being over the top, is what makes me love the show. Cause if someone hates a character, you can't even blame them for hating that character cause at one point, we were probably all mad at someone at some point. There is no character that didn't make you angry before. And that's great, cause it's realistic despite the craziness. The show knows what it is and it thrives off of that. And despite being such a crazy show that's so funny to laugh at, i cried about 6 times in this show, maybe more, and that nearly beats every show i watched. I disagree, though, I think season 2 and 3 were amazing -- i love season 1, though. It's a rare case where the first season was actually one of the best.

2019-02-21 03:38:45 +0000 UTCThat Kurt/Burt scene is one of my favorite coming out scenes in all of Television. It was really well acted. I LOVE season 1 cause it’s a black comedy and has dark humor. I honestly love Rachel despite her craziness. Her over the top selfishness is a part of her character. She’s supposed to be ambitious and driven. I’ve always admired the fact that Glee wasn’t afraid to make their characters unlikeable. All of the characters are flawed and tbh I appreciate that. So many shows make ideal cookie cutter characters. The characters were always the best part of the show, it’s the inconsistent writing and pacing that slowly sinks the show. To me season 1 is the best season of Glee, but the show fundamentally changes after season 1. It becomes less of a black comedy and more of a dramedy. They definitely shift more focus on the different kids in glee than the adults in the later seasons. Kurt’s my favorite character throughout the entire series btw. I’ll always have a soft spot for him, no matter how bad the writing gets

My friends and I in university just binge watched all 6 season of glee a week ago (for nostalgia) and came away with a couple certain thoughts: Mike Change was the best character in all of glee, we hate Rachel, and that Mr. Schuester was just a bad teacher. Unfortunately, Harry’s character and dancing ability doesn’t get to truly “shine” until season 2 and 3. Kurt’s dad, Burt, does stay consistently good, he’s a fan favorite. He’s super supportive and even pretty funny. Some of the best scenes on glee involve him in some way.

She’s diabolical in a cliche way yeah but like I feel like if you pay attention in future episodes you’ll see just how entertaining her lines are. Her character also manages to grow quite well.

His part is small in the beginning, but it does get bigger as time goes on. And I just have to mention, Heather Morrison, the blond cheerleader dancing with Kurt in the beginning, actually was a back up dancer for Beyonce. She was brought on originally to teach the dance but ends up becoming a main.

2019-02-18 18:01:04 +0000 UTCYou’ve finally met Kurt’s dad! Even though this show is pretty awful tbh, Kurt’s dad will go down as one of my favorite on screen parents of all time. He’s what every parent should strive to be like and his character only gets better also his relationship with Kurt brings out some of the most heartfelt moments of the series..Also YAY Harry Shum jr will finally be in the episodes from now on!
