2019-02-20 00:14:49 +0000 UTCI agree that Rachel is really annoying to begin with and honestly some of her traits never go away (cause that's called having a personality) but in my opinion she definitely gets much MUCH better and becomes a character that I love and root for. I hope that you guys can form your own opinions based on the character development and such, I really hope you end up liking the show and watch more than one season cause there's really good stuff in later seasons.

2019-02-08 00:44:33 +0000 UTCThe characters are the kind you have to hate a little at first in order to love them later. They all really grow and the majority become great. There are still a couple that never change and stay endlessly annoying (Rachel) but I'm glad you guys are giving it a chance.

Also fun fact, in this episode when they had the two girls from the other group outside by the trash can, the girl who was holding the other ones hair while she was throwing up is Harry Shum Jrs wife! She’s in most of Vocal Adrenalines dance numbers in season 1

S2 or at least the second half of s1 is like a pivotal moment of loving the characters

2019-02-07 22:16:58 +0000 UTCThe funny thing about the pedo, Sandy Ryerson, is that when this episode first aired it didn't get very positive reviews, but there was the consistent review that Sandy was a saving grace of sorts and was seen as much funnier then than now haha. Mercedes does become much more likeable, even though she is a consistent black girl stereotype until season 2, but hey. Rachel will always be my least favorite character!
