i am so loving these reactions! buffy was the first tv show i became emotionally invested in and i still love it so much today, so it's fun to watch others react to it.

2019-01-31 17:15:27 +0000 UTCI like s2, but I feel people rave about it because compared to s1, its a total game changed on what Joss Whedon was doing, where he was taking the story. Everything is smoother, funnier, more heart wrenching. Its not perfect, but for me by the end of s2 I was like “oh! So it’s gonna be like this, huh! I’m in!” Lol

I'm not particularly a fan of season 2 either but it's one of the fan favorite seasons so I'd say you'll probably find yourself way more invested and entertained once you hit season 2

Don't worry; it really doesn't reflect the quality and potential of the show overall (even though season 1 is still enjoyable to watch). Side-note: your face when, directly after you said the principal deserved to be eaten, the principal was eaten...Seemed like you def didn't expect that to happen, haha.

And they ate the fucking principal, what other show at the time would have gone there? However, yes, there is a LOT of cheesiness in it too. Really looking forward to the next one, it's one of the essential season one episodes!
