God little ten year old me was so pumped for Katara in this episode. She is just one of my favourite characters ever. I stan a queen XD

2018-11-17 04:48:10 +0000 UTCeven if i can't stand katara most of the time, i must say that she really inspired me at times when i was little. she's a great role model for young girls in the sense that she stands up for herself and has repeatedly had to tell men that her being a girl doesn't make her weak. She's such a strong person and talented.Actually, nearly all the females in this show have done such things. Girls and boys are on the same level here and considering this show is quite old, that says a lot. Aw I love Sokka and Yue. But agreed, Suki and Sokka had much more chemistry, albeit having shorter screen time.

2018-11-13 19:44:03 +0000 UTCWith the Northern Water Tribe they are big, strong tribe but, its held back its sexist customs such as arranged marriages and women only learn to heal. Master Paku may be a jerk but, he's following his tribe's customs. Also episodes 19 & 20 should be posted on the same day since their a two-parter.
