Melissa buried Bethany Young. Allison and Bethany were dressed the same that night. Someone hit Bethany Young and Melissa pushed her in the hole even though she didnt see her face she thought it was Allison. So actually Melissa buried Bethany and Bethany was still alive (she was hit but she was just unconscious). Therefore Melissa is guilty for the death of Bethany and she found out in 4x24 when they said that Allison was alive and there was another body in the hole. Melissa was just trying to protect Spencer thinking that Spencer killed Alisson.
