I think the whole cute moments, decent characteristics, and a great sense of humor is the point of this show. That people like to believe that whenever someone is in an abusive relationship or simply involved with someone toxic that it's obvious from the start but we as a society do not give our peers enough credit, sure, there are people who are straight up about who they are but there are others who do a brilliant job at hiding their true intentions. The way this show is framed reminds me a lot of breaking bad, being put in the point of view of someone with a terrible moral but wanting so badly to excuse their behavior and like them because that's the character you are constantly with, it's brilliant and this show has great potential.
