Oh yeah, that's how you spell it. I grew up in rural Alabama, where a lot of people use Skoal and Copenhagen, which is the same sort of thing. And older women used to use snuff a lot. So when I saw Snus in Scandinavia I felt right at home. LOL! Funny thing is you can't buy Copenhagen in Copenhagen. :)

2018-07-28 10:38:49 +0000 UTCYeah, it's a little pouch. I've had it. But there's also some that's not in a pouch---just loose tobacco. It's called "Loos", at least in Sweden. Norway may not have that--I don't recall seeing it there. But it's pretty popular in Sweden.

What is it with these young Norwegians and their freakishly good acting ability? LOL! Side note: I noticed that Ella uses "Snus". That's what you see her putting in her mouth occasionally. It's a type of smokeless tobacco that's very popular in Scandinavia. Nice touch that they put that in there. A lot of shows wouldn't include that out of fear of being accused of promoting tobacco use. But including it adds to the shows realness.
