i personally really love this season. I can understand why others might find it to be a dip in the show and unnecessary or slow, but i adore it. I'm on episode 8 and loved every episode. I prefer a few things over season 1, but still think season 1 is better of course. But for me, it's nearly as good as season 1. I get your reasoning, though. Everyone has different tastes :) I think the Marcus thing was to show that he can easily lie and it might bite him in the ass later? Cause not everyone is gonna be honest sadly. Like Tyler said, people lie and get away with shit, but Tyler tells the truth and gets harassed. I don't even like Tyler, but he has a point lol.
