I think the writers are better at developing a story with shorter seasons like Seasons 1, 2 & 4. Seasons 3, 5 and 6 all have more than one episode where it is just there, no plot, no expansion given; just filler to get the 20 episodes in. Also, whilst I do love Stydia, my issue is that the development was poorly handled. Yes, I loved that rather they rush into a relationship they developed a friendship then more, but the majority of the time it just feels like Friendship. Lydia had more sexual tension with Parrish in a couple of episodes than she had overall with Stiles. Oh my god I agree that Kira is very annoying. At first the doubtfulness in her abilities was sweet and relatable in season 3, but this is season 5. FFS there has been no development in her character whatsoever - and it nags me whenever she does this breathy panicky voice (she isn't the only actress to do this) i.e. episode 15&16 - just develop some ovaries and get on with it already. There was no need to pair her up with Scott. I don't think they have any chemistry at all. Rant over sorry. I do enjoy this show, I just get so annoyed because it had such potential.
