Be patient with Malec...more to see!!! All the scenes have a purpose...2A is kind of a build up for 2B.

Cause like you said, it felt like Alec felt like he had to do it and Magnus seemed hesitant about rushing. Especially with last episode when you clearly see Alec nervous and anxious about Magnus' past experience and them discussing their differences...i wish they waited at least an episode or two to show their growth and give time between that date and them having sex. Sure, we see Alec being more comfortable and Magnus expressing his fondness of Alec to Maia, but still. It seemed rushed.
2018-04-15 22:52:54 +0000 UTCMany of the fans were upset about the last Magnus and Alec scene for this episode being cut off where they did, for the same reasons that you pointed out. Simon is one of my favorite characters in the show and the books and I’m glad that they brought the banter between him and Jace into the show like they did. The comedic aspects in this season are so vastly improved from last season and they upped up the humor and the actors comedic timing improved even more in season 3 (I’m so ready and excited for you to get to season3). Cant wait for your reaction to the next episode, one of my favorites from 2A.
