UNCUT: Teen Wolf S.5.10 Reaction

I may have to disagree with the majority I think the show needed more fighting amongst the group because that hasn't happened and it opened up a lot of possibilities for the show and storylines. In saying that I also hated the season because they never like evened out the screen time so we never saw a lot of malia and stiles and lydia during this last episode and episodes in the past which extremely frustrated me. So sad how close you are getting to the end of teen wolf I don't want to say goodbye again:(

I don't necessarily hate 5a, but I think the reason that there were so many hated/disliked moments throughout the season was simply because of how the writers want the viewers to feel whenever they watch 5b.

The thing with the whole liam/ scott thing I understand both sides of the story. Liam's girlfriend is dying so of course he is willing to do anything to make sure she doesnt die (as any boyfriend/girlfriend would) if that includins killing Scott thats what liam is willing to do so I understand that. But also with the Scott side of the story hes a Ture Alpha he doesn't tolerate any kind of killing rather on purpose or not so je wasnt going to do Anything that was going to harm Hayden in anyway bcuz if he were to bite her and she die he would.no longer be an alpha anymore he would go back to being a beta which wouldnt be good and the show wouod have been shit. Anyway sorry for this little rant I tell this to everyone who watches this episode but I hope you can see it from my point of view. ❤

Idk what everyone is talking about. I loved all seasons of teen wolf except for 6b. That was the worst for me in my opinion.

I knew you were going to hate this season lol, can't blame you though cause that was literally me when I first watched 5A. Now I don't hate it as much because 5B kind of helps you appreciate it a little more, but going through it blind was extremely upsetting.

I agree so much with what you said. This was by far the worst season of teen wolf EVER. Including 5b for me, but others would disagree. That's a less majority opinion. There are definitely great scenes, like scott and stiles' scene last episode, but overall, this was trash. And that's coming from an avid teen wolf fan who will always defend teen wolf when it's insulted. It was so forgettable and i barely remember the storyline cause it was all over the place and trash. Though, I will say some of your questions were actually answered, though they were minor. Like a few of your complaints had explanations, you just missed them. But i get why, i do that a lot to. You're human and can't remember every little detail. I think people forget that it's your first time watching...they can remember because they've seen the episode probably a few times. Also, the Stalia thing isn't just stalia. Stiles distanced himself from EVERYONE since he killed Donovan. Aside from a few Stydia scenes and even then, he was distant. He barely spoke to Scott or Malia. Or even his dad. That was kind of the point. EVERYONE was distant. Which is why the season sucked, tbh. There are ways of doing that without the season being boring. Sadly, they failed.

i think ruined is a bit much. When Liam isn't around her, i still think he's actually a great character. But agreed, when they're together, i roll my eyes. I think they should've kept him single. There was no need for another romance. not everyone needs to have a love interest on a show.

About the mountain ash barrier. Scott was weakened because of his asthma. And also because Theo put wolfsbane in his inhalor, poisoning him. Also I think Scott said once that the time he did break the barrier, it almost killed him. It took a lot out of him. Saying it almost killed him is an exaggeration, but I read that someone thinks of that diffrently. The counter force from the barrier could have sent him flying with enough force to kill him. Speaking of the time in s3e12. Like if he didn't have enough strength to push the barrier to the breaking point, the counter force could have snapped back with enough force to kill. Pluss I've heard someone say they believe that the moment when he became a True Alpha, would have boosted him with power. Making it able for him to push it to the breaking point. And he was weakened this time so. Good enough explanation for me:)

I was SO waiting for your reaction to Tracey coming back! I'm curious to see what you'll think of 5B now. Also, the thing with Liam is that it's obviously annoying watching him trying to kill Scott for a girl he's been dating for what? Weeks, days? That kinda bothered me, they could have found a better way to trigger his anger. But apart from that, his IED was one of the first thing we learned about him in season 4, he was literally on meds because of it when he was human, he was tied on a three at the start of this season because he still hasn't that much controll, plus the supermoon, you can't exactly expect logic from him when he's having an episode. Not saying that he wasn't annyoing, he was, but still, let's not ignore his IED since It's an actual disorder that people have. To this day I still don't understand why Scott "died" for 15 minutes anyway lol

Joe the reason liam wanted to kill scott was because if he kills him he becomes an alpha and then he can bite hayden to save her. Thats what I think was the reason he went after scott.

i really hope you enjoy 5b because i love these reactions they always help me relax and laugh but the last 5 just stressed me out even more then I already was lol it wasn’t as enjoyable with all the yelling

In season 4 episode 5, it was mentioned that Liam had Intermittent Explosive Disorder. Not just normal anger issues. He gets blind with rage. Pluss that he's a werewolf, and haven't had as much time to learn to control it as Scott has. So because of that he REALLY wanted to kill Scott. And is a lot stronger than normal because of the anger. Like Derek said in s4e5. And Scott is stronger than Liam, but he was fighting to defend himself. Not to kill. His unwillingness to kill Liam render him disadvantaged. And if he had let loose, he would have. Even by accident. And in addition to all of that, it was a supermoon, which made Liam stronger and angrier than he normally is because of the I.E.D

5b is great,it has some fantastic episodes and it’s sooo much better than 5a

the reason why i loved season 4 so much was because it had the humour of the earlier seasons but it was a lot better in terms of quality. they really lost that in season 5 so i get your frustration. this season was hard for me to watch as well but it gets a bit better soon

Liam wanted to kill Scott so that he could become an Alpha and save Hayden; they said it in the episode. So he was thinking of her, but the super moon was messing with his head, that combined with Theo and Liam just snapped.

also, with Liam, yes he was trained but that was before he met Hayden, remember how protective Scott was of Allison? Also combine that with Hayden almost dying, his anger issues and a super moon, I get why you don’t like him anymore still though

i honestly completely agree with all your anger. i legit stopped watching the show for months after maybe two more episodes. i just couldn’t believe how frustrating this season was. like i didnt even like some of my favorite characters anymore
