Stiles is always going to feel left out, even if he doesn't need to considering he's just as strong as them. He really has to live with what he did and who he killed. It's so sad.

There’s a reason for that for next episode and going into 5b which well.. you’ll see. And 5b introduces a new villain with the dread doctors which is HIGHLY linked with the chimeras, so there is another reason for killing them
