Sea Witch Spell - Get To Know Water Spirits

Good afternoon moon babes! For today's post I want to share a Sea witch inspired spell and working I wrote. This spell is to gain a closer knowledge and build a working relationship with ocean/sea/water spirits near you. You can do this at a riverbed, ocean, lake, sea, any body of water or at home after you have visited one of these places frequently.

For anyone who is landlocked I am SO sorry for this one - but I get a lot of requests. I can work on more water witch related spells for those who might be landlocked moving forward.

Things you'll need:

-Chamomile 

-Yarrow 

-Jasmine 

-Lilly

-Lavender 

-Hibiscus 

-Catnip 

-Mullein 

-Sweet Tobacco

-Lotus water 

-Fire safe plate

-Salacia or Into the Depths Siren Spell Ritual Oil 

-Blue chime candle

-Tool to etch name into

-Holy Water 

-Grinder, machete or mortar and pestle

How To Cast:

Cleanse your home, your tools, your hands and either your car because you are about to drive to the water, or head to your altar after you have come back from the water. Cleanse your hands with holy water and lotus water, spray your steering wheel with your lotus spray and drive to the water.

Be mindful while you are driving, trying to center yourself and prep for your spell. If you need to up your protections prior to doing this please do so. Any time you go looking for spirits you can and will attract attention from lower level entities. That doesn't mean they will bother you, or CAN because you're protected. But I do feel it’s important to note here, carry a protection charm bag with you or a protection amulet while you do this spell and connect with sea spirits further.

Once you have arrived at the water, start looking for a space that is appropriate to do your ritual in. Spending some time collecting any trash you see and throwing that away is an amazing devotional thing to do while talking with the sea spirits. Introduce yourself, speak with them while you collect trash and begin your personal relationship. Go to your spot that is perfect for your ritual, and begin to cleanse, gather your tools, and meditate to ground your energy. Spend some time bringing your personal energy up and then begin prepping your candle.

How To Cast:

Scribe your name into the blue chime candle and dress the candle with your siren or salacia oil. Begin to slowly activating and adding each herb into your grinder/mortar and pestle. (By now you should be feeling “eyes” or spirit around you, the water spirit are very interesting and always interested in seeing what's going on.)

Once all herbs have been added hold your hands over the herbs and imbue them with your energy, once you have raised enough energy for your working dress your chime candle with your herbs and stick it to your fire safe plate. Burn the candle while reciting the spell below at a minimum nof 3 times. Allow the candle to burn down entirely. When the spell is done leave a bit of sweet tobacco in the spell space and pick up ALL trash or tools left. Turn to go to your car and do NOT look back at the ocean.

I welcome the spirits that are of my highest from this area to communicate with me moving forward.
