Added 2022-10-09 14:00:05 +0000 UTCGood morning moon babes! As you know, I love sprays. I use them all the time, whether it's a cinnamon spray, coconut spray, etc. You asked for protection workings in the 31 Days of Samhain ๐ค๐ฎ๐ Content Idea List, so this is the perfect spray for you.
What You'll Need
- Bottle/amber or glass (amber is better so your mix does not age as quickly.)
- Equal parts Witch hazel and Moon water
- Black obsidian chips
- Sigil on the outside of the jar (bind rude/ agiz, or any rune of your creation)
- Peppermint
- Sage
- Dill
- Bay leaf
- Cheesecloth
- Pine
What to Do
- Prep yourself and your space, I like doing this by cleansing myself spiritually in the bath or shower, cleansing my space entirely spiritually and physically, then setting up offerings to my ancestors / whatever spirit I am planning on asking for assistance - if I am doing so at all.
- For this I do not like leaving actual bits of herbs in the bottle as I find it normally gets clogged in the sprayer. Boil the moon water into a small pan and add your charged herbs, use the time that the herbs are combining for prayer and enchanting of your mix. Once boiled together for 5 minutes turn off the stove, let the mix cool, and then strain the herbs out from the moon water. If you would like to carry on the ritual into a stovetop mix, bath, or floor wash set those herbs aside.
- Charge your crystal chips up and place them into your bottle.
- Pour the moon + herbal water into the bottle halfway and fill the rest with witch hazel or alcohol.
- Place a precharged sigil on the outside of the jar if you are choosing to use one!
- Spray around your space!
