Burning Desire [2017]

Oh yes, it's that time again. The time when I look back on my old art, wretch uncontrollably, and decide to redo one of my old pictures. There were a lot of anatomy issues with the old version, as well as the colours being all muddy and smudged together, along with a general flatness between the foreground, characters, and the background.

Not to mention the faces! Especially Rains giant anime eyes and tiny mouth, big cheeks, it was like an anime hamster. I went for my pseudo-realistic style on them, cleaned up the muddy rendering with more contrast between shadows and highlights, added a few textures and used a hecka cool new brush for the background cave volcanos!
