Some good news!

Hey hey, time for a status update! I went to a very small convention (Chizuru) yesterday to buy some art from one of my favorite artists, and used the chance to ask him how the f to get a table there, since I couldn't find any information regarding that... next to him was one of the con's organizers/helpers, who told me to join their facebook group for more information. I gave her my business card and she really liked it and basically told me that I won't have a problem getting a table. SO that's cool! It's a really small event but a table is a table - and it's free. I'm planning to attend Chizuru in September or October - it's a monthly convention. I also applied for Comic Con Germany in Stuttgart (June 2016) and Comic und Manga Convention in Düsseldorf (November 2015). Then there's the German Comic Con in Dortmund in December, but the table is kinda expensive - 60€ - so I'm not sure if I should apply there. I might skip it and apply for Dokomi again in December. Also the German Comic Con is on Nori's birthday. Kinda a no-go, lmao. The other good news is that I got a part of my security deposit for my old apartment back yesterday. It's enough money for me to print a few things, so it looks like I might have to edit my goals on Patreon soon :o) I ordered 50 postcards of my Sam+Puppy picture today, as a test. If it comes out alright I will order 4 more postcard motives. I also want to get 2-3 posters (A3 size, maybe one A4 sized print), maybe 1-2 bookmarks and 1-2 buttons/pins, plus new business cards. I'll draw 2 new illustrations for posters, and they'll have to be original stuff. Time to think really hard and thumbnail, thumbnail, thumbnail...! Also yeah, here's a new old WIP. I really want to finish this -- and give it some cool effects in the end. For now it's going to look dull for a while. Stay tuned~

Ah yes Im grateful i have a friend with the fancy printer for the prints so i get mone from them. Of course i pay for the stuff hahs. I ended investing in the cutting machine for the stickers because my hands were too sore after cutting 100+ stickers. Hopefully you make good money back so you can invest in the printer :3

I'm looking at a canon that can print A3 size paper, it's popular with artists here who do their printing at home... but it's like 200+ bucks haha

Ah . Hopefully theres a good quality sticker paper around. I havent tried getting them done at a place. As for the printer hopefully they have a sale online. I wait when dell or amazon has printers on sale. Got an epson xp-410 at the moment as is not bad

I'm not sure where to get stickers around here, but I'll keep looking. Our printer isn't good enough unfortunately :<

Wohoo! So happy everything is going well~ prints and stickers sell well at conventions
