MATING SEASON NOTES: IMPISH ASSAULT

MATING SEASON NOTES

PART I: IMPISH HUNTING TACTICS

Small, physically weak, and cowardly, Imps are the most numerous of the demons in spite of their obvious glaring deficiencies.

While most of the time these diminutive demons pose little threat to their demonic ilk, or most physically capable humans for that matter, their vast numbers do denote they are at least surprisingly successful at one thing: Breeding.

Mating season is often an equalizer in the demonic community. Even powerful demons can be brought low by their lust with most animalistic demons carrying an instinctual urge to submit when defeated in order to preserve their limited numbers.

During these times of the year imps are at their most dangerous. This is mostly due to their perfection of numerous tactics to capture and mate with demons and humans alike, almost all of whom are at least marginally stronger, faster, or smarter than them.

Living in packs or hordes of around 20 to 100, Imps will separate into small bands to seek and ambush prospective mates before bringing them back to the horde. With Imps being considered among the lowest strata of demon, it is extremely unlikely that any demon will be desperate enough to willingly chose an imp as their mate. And as a result, the small demons will almost always seek to capture their prey and let their target's demonic instincts do the rest.

One such tactic is to stalk two equally powerful demons and watch them fight from the sidelines. As their targets wear each other out and become too distracted to notice their approach the imps will carefully pick their moment, striking once their prey is too weak or horny to fight back.

Once the ambush begins, the imps will move swiftly to overwhelm their prey, often relying on superior numbers to swarm their opponents. Running a relentless train on the demon until it either submits or collapses into a cum soaked sexual coma the imps will then satiate their lust before taking their prey as a communal mate.

However, even if their band has been whittled down through failed ambush attempts, a single imp can sometimes manage to subdue a sufficiently weakened opponent. In such cases, the imp will lay singular claim to their prey in much the same way other demons do. However, as this is exceedingly rare, such mates will inevitably double as trophies and status symbols. The more beautiful or powerful their mate, the more likely they are to be used as justification of said imp becoming a Imp Warlord...and make it less likely that the imp will allow their mate to depart when the season ends.

While imps are small, they are usually quite well endowed...at least for their size. And despite their general lack of strength or speed imps are gifted with the singular superhuman quality of extraordinary stamina. When mating, imps will usually rely on surprising their far more physically capable prey with these qualities and often manage to outlast them if they chose their moment well.

An important aspect of this strategy is the innate animalistic instincts of most demons. With imps seen almost universally as lesser beings, a demon that is already on the cusp of losing themselves to lust, or has been weakened or exhausted can often find their instincts overreacting even when there is still the possibility of escape or victory. The mere idea of being a imp's mate can create overwhelming feelings of embarrassment and humiliation which can prematurely activate a demon's instinct to submit once defeated.

This phenomenon is ironically more potent the more confident or stronger a demon is. It has been observed that particularly powerful demons can become almost comically inept and completely immobilized during an impish ambush allowing the small demons to have their way with their prey at will. And stories have circulated that in such situations, mighty demon lords will practically just lay there as a tiny little imp fucks them into submission. Though it is unknown how many of these tales are simply apocryphal and spread for the amusement of lesser demons.

In all, it is estimated that at least one third of demons have, at some point in their life, fallen prey to an impish ambush during a mating season. Usually this happens within the first 10 seasons while the demon is still learning how to properly hunt for a mate in the wild. The only stratum of demon society that seems to buck this statistic are demonic nobles who often have their prospective mates travel or be brought to them.

While it would be an overstatement that the unique ability of imps to activate the submissive instincts of such demons is the reason for this custom, there is a unspoken understanding that this is one of the dangers of demonic nobles venturing out alone during mating season. It would, after all, be incredibly damaging to a noble's reputation to end up as an imp's trophy bitch, strapped to a new Imp Warlord's banner, and paraded alongside the marching horde to gather recruits...or the far worse fate of becoming a horde's broodmother.
