Well, the Chief Wizard and the Dark Duke turned out to be kinda on the same side, so perhaps this is a joint operation of sorts.

But that still raises the question of why Hot Elf 2 is working with Llana on a mission that, presumably, the Chief Wizard has given to them! If the Dark Duke is not getting something out of this, why is his employee involved?

One question: it looks like Llana and her "friend" are performing for Santa's benefit and the Chief Wizard is getting a new hat out of it. But the other elf works for the Dark Duke -so shouldn't he be getting an upgrade too? Or has hot elf number 2 switched sides?
