This guitar riff is very cool! But it is very difficult to mute the strings. Especially, when I playing the 4th open string, I mute the 5th and 6th strings with my thumb. At the same time, strings 1-4 are muted by lightly touching them with the other fingers.
It sounds good with the rear pickup:) Also, using a compressor makes the sound tighter and cooler!
Regarding the guitar solo, the pitch of the second string tuning seems to be a little higher. It has a sound that only a live performance can have, and I like that:)
Live at Slane Castle... It`s one of the greatest show I think:)
