What if the reason of her being a spy for an unnamed organization is a bridge between her and finding someone who was secretly important to her? Her nights of naked swimming and walking on her secluded beach is her lamenting that this important person may not even be alive, but she vows to keep going until she finds them (could be either a boyfriend or girlfriend).
