What the voyeur saw - Ashley&Martina

Ashley and Martina are in bed getting more and more intimate but there’s a voyeurs behind the bedroom door (all of us, I think)! The girls detect him but decide to put on a good show for him.

What a show that was!

This was the second set I shot with Ashley and Martina and it is already clear that they are more than just getting acquainted!

For this set we used pink silk bedding (Ashley’s idea) and the Hobolite on half power as I felt it worked better with the blinds partly closed, so we needed some additional light. I used my Canon EF50mm f1.4 lens and opened it up fully, which created the soft focus and nice blurring of the blinds and other background. This was a first for me and it’s to do with my discovery about this lens which I wrote about a few days ago - both models when close to each other, are in good focus. I did encourage them to have their heads close together in this set and of course that adds to the intimacy of the scene, as well as keeping two sets of eyes in reasonably good focus (this cannot be achieved with the 85mm lens, which has a narrower depth of field at each aperture). The advantage of such a low aperture is that I could have ISO pretty low eg ISO was 250 in the lead image and often as low as 160 in others. The other advantage (or disadvantage, depending on your point of view) is a cinematically soft erotic image at the end, with Ashley’s legs open but blurred, whilst the focus is on the models’ eyes. I just love that image - but I would love to hear what you think!
