Steamy affair - Sigrife and Irida in low light
Added 2025-05-05 04:00:06 +0000 UTCThese art nude photos were shot in the steam room in extremely low light. The only available light was natural light coming from a small window (the one you see in the third and fourth photos).
I used my EF50mm f1.4 lens with the Canon mount adapter so that I could use the mirrorless R6 MarkII - the best combo for low light conditions. Before moving the models near the window, I shot with the minimum aperture and relatively low speed - even then ISO had to be 10000. So, I moved them both near the window but realised that only one could be in focus, with such low aperture plus there wasn’t enough space for both models. So I continued mostly with Sigrife and you see tow retouched images in this post.
I have also included screenshots with camera settings for the benefit of anyone interested in photography technique.
