Certainly the spot we discovered, thanks to Ravi, the other photographer who was with me, was great for creating interesting compositions.
The models - Ashleigh Rae and Irida - were awesome and I knew already they could work wonders together. The day before we had an epic shoot with Irida fully nude and Ashleigh in a bath towel, outside one of the outbuildings of our Wanderlust Getaways chalet in the French Alps.
So we spinned it at vers de la Filaterie - the canal by the spinning street at Annecy, a city in the French Alps region.
Apparently, Annecy is considered the Venice of the Alps, because of the network of canals that wind through the historic city centre.
I tried to make sure that the street sign was visible in most of my compositions. The orange colour of the wall next to the faded dark doors also adds to the composition. However, I am also including black and white versions of all the photos, for comparison purposes. I’d love to hear what you think of them, versus the corresponding colour ones.
