New Cabaret collection

Willkommen, bienvenue, welcome - to my new "Cabaret" collection!

The collection and its contents are inspired by the French and German cabaret scene of the late 19th and early 20th centuries, as well as the 1972 movie starring Liza Minnelli - which I love to use as background music to this style of shoot.

Shooting cabaret-style has been made possible by a major investment in lighting equipment, specifically the Hobolite Avant creator kit (costing around £1400).

Although I have had the Hobolite Avant creator kit for over six months, I only started using it in that way at the start of this year. It involves using the barn doors (instead of the soft box) and a grid to direct and restrict the light, which creates the spotlight effect and the often eye-pleasing shadows.

The models themselves loved the idea, although two of them have found it hard to cope with the brightness of the light in their eyes.

By now I have created 26 “cabaret” style posts, so a new collection was definitely warranted, if not overdue.

I am pleased to say that it was created earlier today.

Since it is largely inspired by 1920s Berlin, I considered whether the collection's name should be spelled the German way - "Kabaret" instead of "Cabaret". I have stuck to the English spelling for now, for the practical reason that the English auto-spell check will annoyingly be be changing the "k" back to "c" without me even realising!

In this post I am sharing a few images from various posts in this collection. The sauciest ones are, of course, behind the paywall (including full nude and OL with Relia Kar, which I have now pinned to the top of my page).

Cabaret after all is meant to be cheeky and quite a few models find this as an opportunity to let out their cheekiest side! Which is another reason why I love shooting in this style.

A good example of this was Lithuanian beauty Marrina - she fully embraced the cheeky aspect of the theme. I chose Marrina as the lead image of the collection - as well as this post - although for this post I chose images that don’t show too much, since this is a public post.

The other models in this post (in order of appearance) are: Infinity Valerie&Katerina Maragaki duo, Christiana K, Mila Woker, Brook Logan, Caitlyn, Ashley Ashton&Relia Kar duo.

In the actual collection there are, of course, full sets from these shoots as well as 4K and BTS videos with the above models.

In the coming days I will be adding more content from my latest shoots, including the ones with Ellie Mae and Marrina.
