Catching the winter sun - Mila
Added 2025-02-28 05:00:03 +0000 UTCWell, it’s officially the last day of winter today and what better way to goodbye to the winter blues than with a few photos of Russian beauty Mila catching the sun in Cyprus earlier this month? This set was shot at the rooftop of our Airbnb apartment.
It may not have been very warm but the sunlight was still quite strong, so I had to use a high shutter speed and relatively high aperture stop to make sure the images are not over-exposed.
I include two screenshots with camera settings at the end for the benefit of those interested in photography technique. I didn’t want to go as high as f11.0, however, in cases where the background was distracting eg lots of buildings. I think f9.0 was a good compromise.
