For the second set, Alex chose a sheer body and heels. For this set, as natural light was rapidly disappearing, I used my Canon speed light but didn’t throw the light directly onto the model. Instead, I choose to diffuse it by throwing it onto the ceiling or the side walls. Even so, it was a large room with dark floors so it as still challenging to light the model to my satisfaction.
However, with trial and error I managed, I think, to get a few nice shots, although I want to hear what you think before giving myself a pat on the back.
My preferred ones from this set is when Alex is lying on the floor. The composition has fewer distractions with the black sofa backdrop, and the reflection on the floor is pleasing to the eye.
I’m including a couple of screenshots with camera settings at the end for the benefit of those interested in photography technique.
