Patreon Pick Time!
Added 2025-08-10 02:33:51 +0000 UTCIt’s time for another Patreon Pick discussion!
Drop your suggestions in the comments for what movies you’d like to see Stef watch next, and feel free to chat with each other about them.
I know it’s been a while, and we still have a few things to catch up on, but as you all know, Stef’s had a lot going on recently. She’s been able to watch a few things, and we’re steadily working through the list. The wheels are turning again, and that’s thanks to all of you. Stef and I truly appreciate your patience and continued support—it means the world to us.
How This Poll Will Work
Since it’s been a while, this will be a fresh poll. Here’s how I’ll be selecting films:
I’ll choose 8 films for the poll.
You’ll vote, and the top 4 will be selected.
Any films that aren’t chosen will roll over into the next poll—unless there’s strong demand for new options. In that case, the lowest-voted films will be replaced.
I’ll also make sure the list has variety. While many suggestions have been historical or war films—which can be heavy for Stef—I’ll still include them if demand is high, but I won’t fill the entire poll with them. I’ll balance them with other genres that are getting engagement.
How to Suggest Films
To keep things clear and organized:
Avoid posting one long list of movies. If you have a lot of suggestions, group them by genre or theme, and tell us briefly why you think Stef will enjoy them.
You’re welcome to post multiple comments if needed.
If you see a movie you were planning to suggest already posted, comment on that thread first—it makes it easier to track popularity and helps the film stand out. I’ll still keep track of repeated mentions in other comments, but engagement on the original post will carry more weight when narrowing down the list.
Alright—let’s see your picks! I’m excited to go through them all.
P.S. Please, no spoilers in the comments.

2025-08-21 04:54:24 +0000 UTCStef could watch L.A. Confidential (1997), as well. I will put it forward as a recommendation. Last night I watched the 2013 edition of Bonnie and Clyde. Apparently, it contains a number of inaccuracies. I don’t know the details of events well enough to provide too much of a detailed analysis that way, but I enjoyed it. I will have to acclimate myself to the available record that way in more depth at some point.
