2025-01-08 11:42:51 +0000 UTCI do think it is safe now to take away some confusion Stef seems to have. The whole assassin thing does not really use magic or 'powers' as such. They wear the faces of others quite literally. It's not a magic power or trick, they harvest (for lack of a better term) the faces of people to use as disguises. It is embellished a bit of course for effect. I am glad you did seem to understand the gravitas of Tommen's proclamation around 'trial by combat'. Of late I have been contemplating that this might very well be a pivotal moment in the character arc of Cercei.
