A full week with no Game of Thrones updates, it's torture. I have to wait for a bunch to be uploaded over the next few months and then binge them I think.

I was happy to see Joffrey getting choked up at his own wedding! Like Stef said, "We get the satisfaction of him dying."

- This episode was affectionately called "The Purple Wedding" based on how the poison looked in Joffrey's system, and a callback to the recent Red Wedding. There was surely a feeling of unease and something just "off" during the wedding. It felt that way when I was reading this section in the book as well. It's like our gut just knows something is going to happen and they wrote and acted it well.
- Ramsay Snow is a man we should definitely judge based on his actions. He's tortured Theon, he hunts women who cause him trouble, he sent Theon's manhood to his father, etc... He is also buddy-buddy with Locke and cheered at removing the Jaime's hand. Now his father Roose Bolton is Warden of the North and they are going to be hunting the Stark boys.
- I enjoyed the political backbiting and digs this episode. Everyone always trying to slash at each other and one-up each other just shows the disarray behind whatever face is shown publicly.

Oh yeah, sometimes karma works in this show :] Joffrey was that kind of guy, only a mother could love, haha.
Awesome reaction!
Also, the quality of your new mic is excellent

I raise a glass to the Irish actor Jack Gleeson, whose portrayal of the late King Joffrey gave us the perfect picture of narcissism and cruelty.

Theon has Stockholm syndrome. "Stockholm syndrome is a proposed condition or theory that tries to explain why hostages sometimes develop a psychological bond with their captors. It is supposed to result from a rather specific set of circumstances, namely the power imbalances contained in hostage-taking, kidnapping, and abusive relationships."

The weekend just got a whole lot better.
There was an important clue here about Joffrey's death, but believe me when I say I didn't notice it even re-watching the series several times.
