8.50 I pay 10 bucks 😲 lol must be inflation

Congratulations 💔 You are now officially a woman of Winter 🐺⚔️❄️ #TheNorthRemembers

The young wolf was my favorite character the first time I watched this. I couldn’t wait for him to march down to kings landing and make them pay. Sadly he turned out to be a young pup instead. To make such a dumb mistake. He should’ve had his army right outside the door. (Well around the castle) at least if he dies they would too. Anyway wait for prince oberyn to come. He’s a fun character. Another one of my favs

Wanna ask also if you’ve ever heard of this scene prior?

SegwayKid55

Best 8.50 I spent lol

It was hard for me to watch your reaction knowing what was coming. But how you felt about the Red Wedding was pretty much how we all felt when we first watched it. That's what's great about the Game of Thrones, everyone is expendable. "When you play the Game of Thrones, you either win or you die."

Will Castillo

*they kill off Ned in the first season* me: he was the main character! What is this show even going to be about now? Me: oh Robb is becoming the focal and it’s about his war with the south. *the red wedding happens* Me: he was the main character! What is this show even going to be about now?

Another great reaction. I understand your initial dislike of Gilly. She is a bit odd and is a naïve 16 year old girl who is inbred and sheltered. Her mother is one of her older sisters and her father is also her grandfather or great grandfather. It has been mentioned that inbreeding can cause mental issues... as is the case with Joffrey and Daenerys' late brother Viserys. It can seem like she is trying to use or take advantage of whoever is sympathetic to her plight. It is hard to blame her for wanting to try and save her baby after watching all her infant nephew-brothers be sacrifice. The wildlings realized Jon was only pretending to be one of them and were trying to kill him. Ygritte was initially protecting Jon, but Tormund (the leader of the wildling party with the red beard) restrained her and told her it wasn't worth her dying for "one of them". Jon had to escape or be killed... Congrats for surviving the Red Wedding without saying you are done with the show and don't want to watch it anymore. Looking forward to the finale.

They definitely didn't give the cake away for this one. Bouncing around between various characters like normal to throw us off the scent. Having some pivotal moments with Bran, Jon, and Daenerys and us thinking "ah just a wedding..."

Mawk

Exactly.. well put.

Oftentimes in stories like this there are major trigger events. This is surely one of them. This event's trigger can be traced back, and now we wait to see what this event will trigger itself.

Mawk

Such a great reaction it was too! We've been looking forward to this one

Ah the Red Wedding. Such a tough episode overall for our emotions. Especially for those who like the dreamy idea of mostly good people getting a happy ending... - Bran was able to Warg into Hodor likely because Hodor is simple minded. Jojen describes animals even easier after Hodor, but he also said nobody has ever done that before... - Jon left to save his own life. Tormund and any remaining would surely kill him after he killed Orell (the hawk Warg). The hawk just scrabbled at his face and he was surrounded by enemies. He knew his cover was blown at that point. - There was very subtle foreshadowing to what happened at the wedding, but very tough to see without hindsight. Tywin was extremely focused writing letters when Cersei was trying to talk to him...Roose Bolton being casually against some of Robb's choices...Roose also being upset at Locke's treatment of Jaime and making sure Tywin knew it wasn't him. Tywin utilizing Walder Frey was tactically brilliant: a known oathbreaker and someone Robb has slighted doing his dirty work for him. I think this episode truly calls out human nature. Humans always try to better themselves one way or another beyond their needs, pointing toward their wants and desires more often. Roose was starting to get unhappy as Robb's lord. Walder will likely gain the respect and power he's always wanted for quashing the "rebellion". Tywin manages the crown in King's Landing and uses tactics and all rumors he's heard, as well as people's interest in his gold, to manipulate them to his desires. I will say, in this show, actions truly have consequences, and that has been proven tonight. Will it continue to be proven?

you've just watched what is known as "THE RED WEDDING" cant believe they stabbed her womb but Robb and Catelyn made so many dumb moves and had such bad luck. its sad because robb was one of my favorites but damn another L for house stark. Especially Arya who was so close and is just continuously getting traumatized by all these horrendous deaths to people she cares about, but thats another reason why she only believes in one god and thats death. Jon straight up dipped on Igret at the end of the day Jon is loyal to the bone just like his dad Ned. gotta hate to love it. If you dont remember what Sam used to kill the white walker was called obsidian or dragon glass

I hadn't read the books before watching "Game of Thrones" but I learned that I could not make any predictions.

Yes, this episode is one of the most infamous ones in the series. It is as someone said in the beginning of your reactions. Nobody is safe. No that doesn't mean everyone will die but this series did stand out because unlike so many other shows even the main characters can die, they don't get what is often referred to as 'plot armor'. But one thing is for sure. As you stated quite insightfully. All of it has an impact and 'shifts things'. More specifically it drives the other characters going forward. That is in and of itself not new, but it is the red thread throughout a well written story line (any story). It is just rare to see a story that does it so exceptionally well as this one does.
