Think of Ned Stark in the very first episode, he was strong enough to do it properly. I think you described Theon well...he is so easily impressionable. Whomever he is around, he seems to adapt to their ways of thinking instead of finding his own way and his own personality. - We have now met Ygritte, another wildling. We hear her and Osha start calling themselves 'The Free People', and we can see how independent they are. Quite the change from the rigid and duty-bound Seven Kingdoms. - Dragons haven't been seen for a hundred year, they represent more than just the physical beings. While they are currently "weak", they are indeed vulnerable, in more ways than one. In this case, someone killed many people to take them. - Some of the cross talk between Petyr Baelish and Tywin was easily missed (we were worried about Arya being spotted), but Renly's lover Loras and his widowed wife Margaery did NOT join Stannis. Tywin perked up at hearing this, even if he did say that bit about them marching against the crown.
